Berlin meetup, November 20

Hello everyone,

Let's meet again and connect with other members of the Berlin Wine School Groups! This time, we will be joining the global celebrations of the Beaujolais Nouveau release and exploring the diversity of wines from this region.

Every third Thursday of November, the world celebrates the release of young Beaujolais. These light and juicy wines became a global phenomenon but later fell out of favour due to the quantity surpassing the quality. Recently, Beaujolais Nouveau has been experiencing a comeback with producers focusing on craftsmanship and reviving the tradition.

Much has been recently published about new approaches and developments in Beaujolais (e.g. a new book by Natasha Hughes MV, The Wines of Beaujolais). We will join the discovery and go beyond Beaujolais Nouveau with Vinotopia Berlin, who organizes a special “soirée” to mark the event.
