Blind Tasting Wine Session #7 - 25 September 2023

BLIND TASTING WINE SESSIONS are events, where we will delve into the world of blind tasting.

The event is for anyone looking to broaden their tasting skills.

Some prior knowledge is beneficial – such as a WSET Level 2 qualification – but these sessions will be enjoyable and educational for anyone with an interest in the subject.

The wines used in the sessions can be any combination of white, red, or rosé wines from any region around the world.

Tasting procedure

Participants can drop-in between 18:00–20:00 to blind taste six wines (un-guided) and answer any of the following questions or combinations of questions for an individual wine or flight of wines:

identify the country and/or region of origin;

identify the grape variety/(ies);

identify the common link;

identify the wine’s method of production; and/or

identify the wine’s style within its category (for Sparkling and Fortified wines only);

At this event 6 wines will be tasted blind.

Materials

You will be provided with templates for the answers.

A marking key will be provided after the event.

Terms and conditions

Once payment has been processed your booking is confirmed.

Cancellations and transfers can be made up to two weeks before the event.

Cancellations within 10 working days are non-refundable but can be transferred to another participant up to 2 days before the event.

If you need to change a name on the booking, please give us as much notice as possible.

Berlin Wine School reserves the right to cancel the event. If necessary, a full refund or transfer will be offered.

Participants must be over the legal minimum age for the retail purchase of alcoholic beverages in Germany to attend this event.
