Exploring Alsace with Famille Hugel
Join us at a unique masterclass to discover the diversity of terroirs, grape varieties and wine styles from Alsace.
We will explore the region through the wines of legendary Famille Hugel established in Riquewihr with winegrowing roots going back to 1639.
Despite its modest size, the Hugel company enjoys a worldwide reputation as almost 80% of wines are exported, to more than 100 countries.
Thanks to its privileged geographical situation, Alsace is the driest wine region in France. This climate enables the grapes to ripen slowly to full maturity, giving wines of great finesse and unequalled intensity.Kevin Brick of Famille Hugel will present nine wines from three categories of the portfolio:
Classic
- Riesling
- Pinot Gris
- Pinot Noir
- Gewürztraminer
Grossi Laüe
- Pinot Gris
- Gewürztraminer
- Riesling
- Pinot Noir
Vendange Tardive
- Riesling
