    Join us for an exploration of one of Greece’s most compelling cool-climate terroirs in a masterclass led by Konstantinos Makantasis, Export Manager at Alpha Estate.

     

    Alpha Estate stands at the forefront of modern Greek winemaking, blending innovative viticulture with a commitment to sustainability. Nestled on the high-altitude Amyndeon plateau - approximately 130km west of Thessaloniki - the estate captures the essence of each vineyard site through minimal intervention and meticulous winemaking.

     

    In this session, we will uncover how the Amyndeon ecosystem unfolds across Alpha Estate’s portfolio by tasting handpicked vintages that trace the evolution of style and terroir expression over time.

     

    From the delicate aromatics of Malagouzia to the profound intensity of old-vine Xinomavro, every wine will show the interplay of climate, soil, and focused winemaking.

     

    By the end of the class, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how Amyndeon’s distinctive environment, combined with sustainable viticulture and low-intervention winemaking, shapes the pure flavours, complexity, and ageing potential of Alpha Estate wines.
