  • Masterclass: Introduction to the Wines of Poland

We are delighted to invite you to an exploration of Polish wine, a category experiencing a remarkable resurgence.

Once a thriving winemaking country, Poland’s viticulture faced significant decline due to historical and climatic challenges.

Today, however, it is gaining well-deserved recognition for its vibrant wine scene, diverse grape varieties, and distinctive cool-climate styles.

In this guided masterclass, led by Karolina Carrier DipWSET, a Berlin-based specialist on Polish wines, you will taste a selection of wines—ranging from traditional Vitis vinifera to hybrid varieties (PiWi) — while gaining insight into Poland’s unique terroir, grape characteristics, and emerging winemaking trends.

This session offers a rare opportunity to discover wines from an exciting and rapidly developing wine region, with some vineyards located just a two-hour drive from Berlin.

We look forward to seeing you!
