Digital certificates and badges for Wine Scholar Guild (WSG) qualifications

As of March 1, 2025 Wine Scholar Guild has transitioned to digital certificates for all WSG programs.

This means that all students who receive a passing score on an exam marked after February 28, 2025 will automatically receive a digital certificate.

What About Pins?

Students who receive a passing score on an exam marked after February 28, 2025 will continue to receive a pin, following the existing process, until May 31, 2025.

As of June 1, 2025, students with passing scores will receive instructions on how to purchase a pin directly from WSG if they wish. WSG will no longer be sending pins to your Course Provider after May 31, 2025.

Digital certificates and badges for WSET Level 1 and 2 qualifications

From January 2025, all Berlin Wine School graduates of WSET Level 1 and 2 qualifications will receive their certificates and badges in digital format.

This change means you will receive your certificates much faster. It provides more flexibility to share your achievements online and add your certificates to LinkedIn or other social media. You will also receive a digital badge to embed into your email signature.

The certificates will be available via the WSET partner Accredible with credentials provided after a successful completion of the course. You’ll have access to your certificate at any time and the access won’t expire.

For the time being, graduates of the WSET Level 3 qualifications will continue to receive printed certificates and physical badges (lapel pins).
