Berlin Meetup, September 24
Let's meet again to connect, get to know each other, and explore 🌎🍷 Chilean wines, the September theme of the Berlin Wine School Groups.
September marks Chilean Wines Month, and several members of the Berlin Wine School community have been focusing on the wines from this diverse country. We've found a venue specializing in 🌎Latin American cuisine, which is happy to host us and let us explore Chilean wines (and not only!) together.
📅Date: September 24 at 19h
📍Place: Tupac Berlin, Oranienstraße, 170, 10999, Berlin Kreuzberg
📩Capacity: 6 attendees (we’ll be 8 in total, including the hosts). Please RSVP by leaving a comment below this post. Only RSVP if you are sure you can attend, so others don’t miss out on a spot.
Attendance will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If the capacity fills up, I’ll keep track of the responses and create a waiting list.
🔤Details:
A small 🍷guided tasting will be led by @Mara, our community member, who specializes in premium wines and spirits from Bolivia and Chile. We will share the cost of this tasting among attendees, estimated at 15-20EUR/person, depending on the final group size.
If you prefer not to participate in the tasting, you can order wines and other drinks (incl. pisco) directly from their drinks menu.
There’s also an option to🍾 bring your own bottle (BYOB) with a 15 EUR corkage fee, if you’d like to share a favorite wine, Chilean or other, with the group.
The restaurant has a 🍽️sharing plates concept, and their menu looks great! Let's share some food to explore not only the wines, but also Latin American cuisine together!
I am not affiliated with the venue and have no profits from organizing this event. It is solely intended to bring the community together and connect around Chilean wines.
👋Reach out to me at verafrajtova@gmail.com if you have any questions or want to share your WhatsApp number for coordination.
Looking forward to discovering Chilean wines together and meeting everyone next week!

Just checking too that we are all confirmed (and all coming!) for tomorrow - I guess there are 6 of us from the comments here, right? Looking forward to seeing you all there at 7pm tomorrow! Cheers, Nicola
